The Series
Masks of Weho is a microdrama series rooted in Mexican wrestling culture and the belief that we are all fighters — whether we're in the ring or behind a sewing machine. Set in the heart of West Hollywood, the series follows a world where identity, craft, and performance collide through the art of the Lucha libre mask.
At the center of it all is Benny — a Mexican costume designer whose creations don't just dress characters, they define them. Every stitch is an act of resistance. Every mask is a statement. The masks sold in this shop are the same pieces worn on screen: handmade, one-of-a-kind, and built to be felt.
The Luchadores
- Demon Twink — The breakout anti-hero. Theatrical, unpredictable, and impossible to look away from. His three signature masks are available as made-to-order collector's pieces.
- Bidi Bidi Bamba — A force of joy and fury in equal measure. Inspired by the exciting flavors of Latin music and built for the spotlight.
- Piñata Papi — Chaos on the outside but sweet on the inside. The crowd favorite. When he swings, he never misses.
The Creator
Evan Diego Kuykendall is a Los Angeles–based writer and director whose career has been built at the intersection of storytelling and industry.
As a storyteller, he won the 2022 WeScreenplay Diverse Voices Competition and has advanced in multiple prestigious screenwriting competitions. His work ranked in the top 2% of unrepresented screenplays on Coverfly in 2023. He is also the writer of the digital comic series Zagreus, available on Webtoons.
On the business side, Evan began his career interning for Oscar-winning screenwriter Akiva Goldsman at Weed Road Pictures. He later served as an executive assistant at the leading talent agencies Paradigm and Verve, working in the Literary and Film Sales & Finance departments, before becoming a talent manager at Frontline Management. He has since expanded his expertise into luxury retail, establishing himself as an e-commerce professional at Chrome Hearts.
Masks of WeHo is where those worlds converge: a content and commerce brand that approaches storytelling and product with equal seriousness. The shop isn't simply merchandise—it's an extension of the world.
